It’s an honor.
There are many ways we remember and honor our Fathers.
Every AWON Member can pick and choose the ways . . . from doing lasting Tributes (on these web pages) . . . to writing personal stories of remembrance for The Star (our quarterly newsletter) or for the Website . . . to providing Wreaths and Banners on Memorial Day to remember our Fathers by name . . . to writing articles for national, regional, and local publications . . . to speaking about our Fathers at local schools and events . . . to attending local and regional gatherings and national conferences. AWON Members are finding new ways almost every day to honor those who gave it all for all of us.
Early additions to this page will include evidence of the Wreath and Banner program overseas – evidence of a similar program for Domestic, National cemeteries – evidence of our participation in Wreaths Across America, and Lest We Forget former AWON Members. Evidence and more information on all of this is contained on the pages of this section. Help us bestow and enjoy the Honor of Remembering these men.
